Historical Committee Positions Child Form Information
The Historical committee positions child form displays a listing of all committees the participant has served on in the past. This child form displays the following data columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Committee | This is the name of the committee the participant served on in the past. |
Position | This is the position held by the participant in that committee. |
StartDate | This is the date the participant was added to the committee. |
EndDate | This is the date the participant was deemed no longer to be active in the committee. |
When a participant's EndDate is set to a date in the past, the committee they are joining will be displayed on the Historical committee positions child form.
It is good practice to keep historical records of all prior participants in your committee. Rather than delete records of participants who can no longer remain active in your committees, set an end date instead. This will move them to the Former participants child form on the Committee Profile and keep a record of their previous participation on the committee on the Historical committee positions child form.
